Reseller & Distribution Policy

1. Introduction

This Reseller & Distribution Policy outlines the terms under which Top Shelf Jerky products may be resold. Our goal is to maintain brand integrity, fair pricing, and a consistent customer experience across all sales channels.

By purchasing Top Shelf Jerky products for resale, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Authorized Resellers

Only businesses that have been expressly approved by Top Shelf Jerky are permitted to resell our products.

To become an authorized reseller, you must:

  • Apply directly through Top Shelf Jerky
  • Be approved in writing
  • Agree to follow all pricing and branding guidelines

Top Shelf Jerky reserves the right to approve or deny any reseller at its sole discretion.

3. Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

To protect our brand and ensure fair competition, all resellers must adhere to our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP):

  • Products must not be advertised below the recommended retail price (RRP) set by Top Shelf Jerky
  • Discounting, bundling, or promotions that effectively reduce the advertised price below RRP are not permitted without prior written approval

Failure to comply may result in termination of reseller status.

4. Online Marketplace Restrictions

Unauthorized resale on third-party platforms is strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • eBay
  • Amazon
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Gumtree

Resellers may only sell on approved platforms with prior written consent from Top Shelf Jerky.

5. Brand Representation

Resellers must:

  • Accurately represent Top Shelf Jerky products
  • Use only approved images and descriptions (or ensure accuracy if creating their own)
  • Not alter packaging, labelling, or branding in any way

Any misleading or false representation of the brand is strictly prohibited.

6. Product Handling & Storage

To ensure product quality and safety, resellers must:

  • Store products according to recommended conditions
  • Not sell expired or damaged goods
  • Maintain proper hygiene and handling standards

7. Bulk Purchasing & Redistribution

Products purchased for personal use may not be resold.

Bulk purchases intended for resale must:

  • Be disclosed to Top Shelf Jerky
  • Be approved under a reseller agreement

Unauthorized bulk resale is prohibited.

8. Enforcement & Violations

Top Shelf Jerky actively monitors the marketplace for policy violations.

If a reseller is found to be in breach:

  1. First violation: Written warning
  2. Second violation: Suspension of supply
  3. Third violation: Permanent termination of reseller status

Top Shelf Jerky reserves the right to:

  • Refuse future sales
  • Request removal of listings
  • Take legal action if necessary

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, product names, and branding associated with Top Shelf Jerky remain the property of Top Shelf Jerky.

Unauthorized use or misuse may result in legal action.

10. Policy Updates

Top Shelf Jerky reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Continued resale of products constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
